Mobile Defender™ is a purpose-built, in-vehicle automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) capture and alerting system for law enforcement that works seamlessly with PlateSmart ARES® 3ALPR software as part of a complete enforcement, investigative and analytic solution.
What is PlateSmart Mobile Defender™?
PlateSmart Mobile Defender™ is an in-vehicle automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) system designed specifically for law enforcement. It captures license plates and provides real-time alerts, integrating seamlessly with PlateSmart ARES® 3 ALPR software to enhance enforcement, investigative, and analytic capabilities.
What are the key features of Mobile Defender™?
Mobile Defender™ supports up to 3 cameras per vehicle and provides on-screen and audio alerts in real-time. It can operate offline for up to 30 days, supports NCIC and state-issued BOLO hotlists, and ensures data encryption both on the network and disk. Alerts are uploaded to ARES® 3 for future investigations, and it can receive alerts from other Mobile Defender™ units and fixed ALPR cameras.
What is included in the Mobile Defender Lite™ Kit?
The Mobile Defender Lite™ Kit includes 1 camera, a PoE injector, and accessories. It also comes with 1 year of support and 1 remote training session to help users get started effectively.
